Off topic given the time of year I know, but I'll be at Marco Island Florida in late Feb-early March and have the chance to fish the gulf on March 2nd. Just curious if anyone has fished the area, particularly that time of year, and what to expect. I'll probably go regardless, but was curious if it was a better or worse time of year. I have to book by the end of next week so any input is greatly appreciated!

Hey buddy, hope all is well. I have fished then in that area and as long as you don't get seasick you will have fun and catch a lot of fish. The water will be choppy and I got so sick I wanted to die even though I should have OD'd on dramamine. Redfish, makerel, snapper, sharks, you name it and it might bite.
