Food Plot Update

Put in two brassica [turnips, rape, radish] plots yesterday. All of the plots are looking good except the 1/2 acre soybean plot that the deer are hammering. A couple of weeks ago it was over the deer's belly now it is about 6 inches tall. I forgot to take picture of that plot. I broadcasted some brassica seed into the soybeans in this plot so there should be something there for the hunting season. My other 2 1/2 acre soybean plot is doing great. The corn I planted for screening really took off with some of it over 10 feet tall. Almost all of corn has 2 ears of corn with some even having 3. It is suppose to rain tonight so the brassica should be sprouting within a week.

Looking good.

At my place the deer are hammering the farmers beans and right now

leaving mine alone. That could change though I know.

What part of Wisconsin are you in?

Looks good! The corn for screening is a good idea, unless you are over run with coons. They break the stalks down around here really bad.
