Do you have to have your shotgun deer tag by nov.2 or can you still get it up until you go.?

You can purchase either shotgun deer license up to and including the last day of whatever season you hunt (season 1 or 2).

Just be aware that if you want to purchase a late season muzzleloader deer license you must buy it by Dec 14. That is the last day for vendors to sell 2002 licenses.
