Frost seeding

Late February or early march. When snow isn’t deep & I like some bare soil if possible.
In my mind, it is ideal to broadcast over about an inch of melting snow. It makes it real easy to see where you have been, via both your boot tracks and the sown seed. But bare ground is fine too, aim for the days where it is "greasy" by day, but freezing a little crust at night. Perfecto.

Thanks all good information
