Yesterday evening as I was traveling from one of our farms to another while picking corn I seen 3 cars parked along the highway shoulder with their flashers on. I figured it was a deer collision and sure enough a small buck had been hit and it was laying in the middle of the highway. One of the people that were stopped tied a long strap around it's antlers and dragged it off. Little did they know the deer was apparently knocked out because the second they got it off the road the deer "came to", got up, stared at the people for a couple seconds and ran off with the strap dangling from its' antlers!
Hard to say how much injury there was to the deer and if it will survive but it was a very comical site!
