Giving bad weather a try

Last time it was bad weather the deer were moving like crazy- so I'm heading to southern Iowa this afternoon to give it a try. Hopefully ill be updating this with a harvest report! Anyone else out tonight?

Lots of little buck activity from what I'm hearing and seeing. Had a small forker run a doe right across the road in front of me on Stange in the Middle of Ames this morning. The time is coming, and it's only going to get better from here on out. Buddy rattled in a small buck this morning. This cold rainy weather should have them on their feet early tonight feeding.

I don't have a North wind stand on a food source. Really stinks this year!

Was out checking cams and had 2 sets of does and some younger bucks walk by...should be good il be out

On my drive down to the property from Des Moines I noticed many deer out moving in picked fields

It's actually snowing right now or I am at. So we will see how it goes.

Lots of deer - all young bucks. Baskets and spikes

Four does and an opossum. Got here as fast as I could after work. In the stand by 4:30.

I wasn't able to get out, but saw several does/fawns feeding in picked corn/beans and hayfields the last two nights on the way home from work. About 5:30. Bet I'll have some pics of deer going by my stands!
