Southern IL frost seeding .
Due to the fact that the weather is mostly warmer down in jefferson co IL. I was thinking of frost seeding Feb 6-8.my existing plots
What do ya think?
And can frost seeding be done on fall tilled soil as well?
I live in Washington County, IL and I'm planning to frost seed 9ac. of switchgrass here in the next week or so. I think we still have plenty of winter left for the seed to get covered.
Fall tilled soil would be perfect to frost seed in.
