Granpa shot a fish

At least that's what I told my grandson.

Don't have access to a boat this year so I have to try from shore. Missed the 1st long shot then a hour later I connected on the second long shot. By long I mean like 20 yards. It takes only seconds for these big heavy grass carp to rip off 50 yards of line. I thought I'd loose him when all my line was out. Pulled him in about have way then he ran again. I won a 10 minute tug-og-war however. Didn't weigh him but he had to be ever bit of 40lbs.

I spose it can Jay. Last year I marinated a few steaks in some orange juice, real lemon, and garlic seeds. Then used a brown sugar and spice baste and smoked them. Don't know if it was all the spice and other gunk that masked the real taste but they turned out pretty good. Even the neighbors liked it.
