Grazing Cattle

I am about to head down to the farm that I hunt in Iowa to get some rocks out. The farm that I hunt grazes cattle, anyone have suggestions to plant some fall plots just for deer without the cows getting them? It is a great piece of land, but can be discouraging seeing angus prior to antlers.

Good luck planting something that will attract deer and not cattle...

Maybe an electric fence around your plot will do the trick, but not sure.

You're going to need a fence unless someone knows some other trick?

Fence is the only thing you could do to attract deer and leave the cattle out. Anything a deer will eat, cows will eat too.
