Great Morning in the Woods

Spent all day Wednesday in the stand with tons of activity but nothing close enough. Today only sat about 15 minutes when I heard leaves crunching and BAM a nice buck was 15 yards to the West nose to the ground. I quickly stood up grabed my bow and when he hit my shooting lane I grunted at him a second grut got him to swing around broadside and I let the arrow fly. The Slick Trick found its mark and 50 yards later I found my first public land buck.
