After a very warm and unproductive start to our youth season, My son Jason got a chance at a deer--finally. Although we had been seeing a few deer we just werent really getting any shooting opportunities. Sat eve. we climbed into a double tree stand set-up that his brother and I normally bowhunt out of.
It didnt take long for a young doe and a young buck to show up. Jason didnt hesitate to shoot and made a heart shot at 30 yds.
