Heck of a day bowfishing

I found this older picture of some fish we shot one day i thought id share.

That's crazy, how much do some of those things weigh? I assume those are asian carp from the Des Moines River.

the biggest one was 35 pounds.we shot 5 that were over 30 pounds that day.all of them were shot from the bank.

Man I bet that was fun. Those things are long and pretty skinny. You catch a 20 pounder and you think it's 40. That 35 lbr is a lot of fish! I seen a 61 lbr a little over 2 weeks ago and WOW.

That's awesome and a hellova good hall. Next to deerhunting I'd say shootin fish is my favorite thing to do.
