I was shooting my bow Saturday afternoon and was extremely happy with my set up. All of a sudden while at full draw I heard a ppplllliiiingggg and lost tension on my bow. It didn't take long to realize that my bottom limb had broken. Felt lucky that it didn't completely come apart!!
It is a Mathews legacy.
Anyone else have that happen? Will Mathews cover it under warrenty?
 
If you are the original owner, call Mathews or email them about your problem and they will take care of you.

If you are not the original owner, a new set of limbs will cost you about $150.
 
I had the same issue and Mathews is a great company to work with. take your bow to your dealer, (hopefully you regestered the warranty) and you should be back in business in a week.

Mathews' customer service is second to none and will do everything needed to get it fixed.

Forgot this

if it is a limb issue or the likes, it will all be covered under warranty with no cost to you.
go to their website Mathews Tech Support
and fill out the info requested and they will be back with you today....

sounds like an opportunity to buy an XT!! gotta love mathews!! did it break at the bolt on where. kinda scary if you think about it.

Yep, and I can't believe he did no bodily harm to himself. Dewy you may want to go buy a lottery ticket...

This normally would have happened to you when you were drawing on a hog and you would have a case of nasty string rash and sore from your safety belt catching you as you are tumbling and swearing.
