i am clearing about a 1/4th of an acre food plot and was wondering what seed i shoud put in the ground and when so it would be at its prime on the magical day of october 1st!
Hard to beat winter wheat or rye with a months worth of growth for a fall plot on October 1. Turnips may see heavier use just a little later in the year.
