I took my good friend turkey hunting for his first time. We went to Nebraska, because I have filled my Iowa tags! We had a slow morning, but at 10:30 we heard a faint gobble. Called and he responded! 30 minutes later we had 2 toms rush my DSD jake. Since my buddy hadn't ever shot a turkey before I let him shoot. He blasted one Tom off the top of the jake. The other started attacking the dead tom, long enough for me to grab my bow and THWACK! Doubled up with two toms. A quick summary of our hunt. Click BOOM, yelp yelp THWACK!
