I have a p41 homebrew that was built about 5 months ago. It worked great up until about a month ago. For some reason it is not taking pictures when it is turned on. The red light comes on, but does not flash like it did before to "activate" itself. I can take the camera out and take pictures with it so the camera itself is fine. All of the wires are connected and there is visibly nothing wrong. I don't know if some moisture got in or what? I don't have a lot of time to research this problem all over the internet so if any of you have had a similar problem and have any suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks.

I am certainly no expert. It could be any of many potential problems. Have you tried replacing the 9V battery for the sensor?

What board are you using. Check the wires to the board.

Try disconnecting the battery for an hour then try again...just a start.

Are you talking about the AF aluminator when you mention the red light is coming on? If so turn it off, also if you are using the bg2 and p41 fast mode you can see issues due to using it indoors.

Thanks for your help guys. My buddy that built it for me is going to take it today and work on it. I will let you all know what the problem is when he figures it out. I tried a few easy fixes and did not have any luck.
