does it happen that you kill two birds with one shot??
Another question,do hens and toms/jakes roost in different trees?
Sat. night i was out and happened to be near a roost area and got to see them fly up in their trees.Seen 7-8 hens fly up about 20 yds. away, one jake.Then the 3 toms and 5 jakes run down tree line 150 yds. and dissappear in trees. This was at 8:20.
Sun. nite i'm 50 yds. up tree line,out of all the wind,the 9-10 hens come out 200 yds. north of me. Later 2 toms and couple more hens show up.About 1/2 hour later 6 jakes come out 150 yds. south of me, see the flock of hens and sprint by going to the hens. They came out the same place they went into Sat. night when the hens were roosted. Was this a bunch of hatch buddies that had not been broke up yet?
