HSS Releases Buckle Cover System For Silent Advantage

Danville, Alabama ─ You can spend a small fortune on the latest camouflage or scent eliminators, but when you're 20 feet above the quiet forest floor, it's usually a sound that betrays your position. Be it the sling swivel that taps the stock as you bring your rifle up or the rattle bag that gets bumped as you draw your bow, some little accidental sound will result in a moment of eye-to-eye contact with the big buck before he bolts and becomes an etched memory of what could have been.

A hunt-ending sound is last thing you need emanating from the piece of gear designed to save your life. That's why Hunter Safety System, the leader in treestand safety, has introduced the Buckle Cover System (BCS). Constructed of soft fleece, the BCS simply slides over the harness buckles of your HSS vest, thereby eliminating any metal- or plastic-to-metal contact between the buckle and your stand, bow, firearm or other accessories.

The new BCS fits all existing HSS vests and is available for $9.95 for a pack of three. All new HSS vests will come equipped with the fleece buckle covers, so you can hunt in silence with confidence.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Danville, Alabama, Hunter Safety System is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative deer hunting gear and hunting equipment for the serious hunter. I have these. They are a pain in the butt, but work. I Never wear my safety vest on the outside of clothing so it is usually a non-issue. The only problem I ran into when walking in the morning is my binos would get to bouncing and would smack the buckles, so I bought the kit to quiet it down.
