I heard mention on the "Harvest Report" of the HUSH program. Can someone give me the background on this program. I'm unfarmiliar with this.

Its a program the DNR has set up to allow hunters to donate part of their harvest.

Does anyone know if the deer have to be de-boned or just field dressed?

Holy Hell I'd have to drive 4 hours to get to one! That no good. What is the incentive for a locker to take part? Not much by the looks of it!

I too was a little dissapointed in the location of the lockers. But this is a start. Hopefully it will grow to cover more area and maybe the deal for the lockers can become better with strong support for the program.

We can support the program with $$$ also, which may help it to grow.

I am going to try to support it if possible as I am only an hour away from one.

The locker gets $50 from the HUSH program....I guess I'm spoiled my usual locker is participating

Well i must be in the right spot,2 lockers with in 10 miles and 1 that is a mile and a half away,and my wife works there.
That special late season is looking better all the time.
