Iowa landowner's liability being increased after a court ruling??
Has anyone heard about this lately? I missed it when this came out earlier this year (Feb.?) and really have not heard a thing about from hunters/ farmers/ landowners in my area.
I did however receive an email from an Iowa landowner (who lives out of state) where I hunt and his concern on how this effects his liability when he allows me to hunt his property. I let him know that I was unaware of any changes that affected hunting. I'd appreciate it if you know the law/ ruling and how it is interpreted in regards to landowner liability. Really would like to know for myself and be able to assure him that it is a non issue for hunting.
