Ice fishing at Clear Lake

Looking for some advice on when and where to try and fish Clear Lake this winter. About of dozen guys I hunt and fish with are looking for a long weekend to go north for some ice fishing. Nothing fancy needed. Just good fish and cold beer. Any ideas would be appreciated. Post or PM anything you'd like to share.

Its pretty hit or miss. When the bites on its on. Best time is just before dark and early morning. You can usually catch some yellows but the eyes seem to be pretty picky. I haven't been on clear lake this year and they did some dregging so I may be way off. If you set up by the little towns you should catch some. Fish near the island or the aerator(not to close) you will catch fish.
