So i got my beans and corn in, clover, chicory, and last my oats are in. So i was looking at putting in some peas in the ground i was wondering what success people have had with peas and when should you plant these?
I planted them for a few years now and they do well in my sandy soil. The deer like them also. You can plant now. You may even be able to get 2 crops in per year. From my experience, it works better if they have some other plant to crawl up. Thats why I used the Buckwheat. I also planted with sorghum, but the peas came faster than the sorghum. They laid along the ground.
