What is this?

It popped up in force in a CRP field. Do we want it there?:confused:

(Sorry for the pics on the concrete, I forgot the camera when I was at the CRP)
 
Hard to say. Looks like rye or wheat. But I'm on my phone and the images are small
 
Wheatgrass? We had it for one year on our CRP then faded out.... Not sure if that is it?
 
Looks like Canada Wild Rye (Elymus canadensis). Nothing wrong with it, sometimes considered a bi-annual. Not invasive.
 
Another vote for Canada Wild Rye. It's another warm season grass. Usually the others (big blue etc...) choke it out after a few years.
