Got set up with snow camo the cheap way today. I went to an army surplus store and bought a over sized pair of white Navy pants to fit over my bibs for $10.00. Then I went to Fleet farm to there army surplus section and picked up a white coverup jacket for $9.00 and a white stocking hat for $3.00. I have some old white gloves. Im all ready for late season for less then 25.00. Thats the cheapest camo I've ever bought. I have all of next week off. Monday can't get here quick enough. I haven't been this excited since...the last time I went hunting.

a buddy of mine told me to buy over sized coveralls for a butcher, he said they were about $25 dollars. any way you got the same result . i still got to piece mine together,

Do you really need to have a snow camo to hunt the late season? Does it really make that big of difference. I am not criticizing or anythingi was just wondering if i need to invest my money into some snow camo
 
I thought about painters coveralls but I guess I didn't think they would be that cheap. May have to get myself a set.

I would think realtree camo blob walking through a white desert would stick out like a sore thumb. Its entirely up to you though.
 
Good question....do you guys hunt the ground or up a tree in late season? That would make a difference i would think. Stand hunting with no leaves makes me think a sky/breakup pattern is the best.
 
All white works well in a tree also. I had deer at 20 feet last year while I was only 5 feet off the ground just for better visability and they never had a clue. Deer just don't see or understand all white no matter where it's at.

I was wondering about the all white thing. You see Canadian hunting shows with guys in all white, so it must work to some point.
