I have a friend who has an acreage in des moines. I was wondering if i could hunt it and what i needed to do to be able to hunt there. Dnr said to call police station. Police station said i needed a permit but couldnt tell what the permit was. Anybody know what i need.
Call Mike Gaul with the City of Des Moines. They will access the property and tell you if you can hunt or not. You also have to have bow ed class and do a proficiency shoot. Then you can start shooting does to have a chance for a buck tag next year.
