The Iowa Taxidermist Association will be holding their annual show and competition this weekend, April 28th- 30th, in Marshalltown, Iowa.
It will be held at the Best Western, right off Highway 30.
Come and see some great taxidermy work from all over the midwest. The show room will be open to the public,and free, on Saturday, from noon to 5 pm. On Sunday from noon to 3 pm. If taxidermy is something you are interested in, come and sign up to be a member, pay dues, and enjoy some seminars.
Its a great way to learn the art of taxidermy, by learning and talking to other taxidermist.
On Sunday, we will have on display, a moose, a young boy with luekemia, harvested in Alaska in "05". The ITA joined forces with Hunt of a Lifetime organization, to help send the young man on his trip. The ITA also mounted the moose, at no charge. That in itself is a great story.
