The Iowa Taxidermist Association, will be holding its annual competition and show, this weekend in Marshalltown.
It will be held at the Best Western Regency Inn, right off Hwy. 30.
The competition room will be open to the public on Saturday (17th) from 10:00 am, until 5 pm., and on Sunday (18th) from 9:00 am until 12 noon.
There is "no"
charge to the general public to view the mounts.
This is a good chance to see some real nice competition pieces. If you are interested in taxidermy, its also a good chance to talk to other taxidermist. There are also seminars, but you must be a ITA member to attend.
You may join the ITA right on the spot.
