Lake Macbride Bass

Has anyone every bass fished lake macbride up by Iowa City? Never been up there myself, theres a bass tournament up there april 29 i belive and me and my buddy were gonna go fish it. Just wondering what anyone has done for success up there or what I should look for or need to know. Thanks guys!

I fish for walleyes out there that time of the year, but there are plenty of bass in Macbride. We catch a lot of bass from the main boat ramp in the park all along the south arm. I hooked into a huge one last year along the docks of the cottage reserve homes.

At the last bass tournament held at McBride, more muskies were caught than bass.
