Well it took a little while to get the pics up but here they are. We had a great time. We got up there early monday morning fished all day monday all day tuesday and took off wednesday. The fishing was great monday between 4 of us we caught around 70 walleyes nothing huge but some eaters. We caught one 21 that day.
Here was the big dissapointment for the trip I faught this thing for pry 6-7 minutes thinking the whole time it was a big walleye or maybe even a northern. Here he is swimming by the hole. Guesses anyone.
A dang ol eelpout man those things are nasty. The second day started out great we hit them early in the morning catching 10 before 8 oclock with a 22 inch and a 26 inch. after the 26 they just shut off and we only caught 7 more all day long.
This was taken to soon I forgot you had to squeeze the tail together.
Well the sun had gone down on the last day and we had drank way too many beers so we decided that we had to find the closest bar. Wouldnt you know it we had a bar within walking distance. It is pretty cool to be 13 miles out on the lake and you still have a place to go and get some food and a couple drinks.
The whole trip the guys were giving me crap that my wife had castrated me because I brought her pink duffel bag up there but after a few drinks I had to prove to them that I still had one left down there.
There you go tha4 I hope that was enough pics for you. I had a great time and would say that if you have never gone up there ice fishing give it a try it is a good winter get away that doesnt cost an arm and a leg.
