Last 2 deer done just in time

All done with last seasons taxidermy just in time to start this seasons work. Already have gotten in 6 bears from Canada in the past 7 days. 5 rugs and one lifesize monster that was just short of 7 foot.

Here is my non-typical bow kill from 2010 I finally got around to finishing.

This tall brow buck was a remount for a friend.

Going to start the bears soon, I'll have pics posted of them before hunting gets good here in Iowa.

Thanks, I did 18 whitetails last season and hope for 30 or so this season.

So when you remount do you have to use a new cape?

Yep, had to use new cape and materials. Got a nice roadkill salvage tag on this one. My buck scored 156 gross nt. had over 50 pics of him that season, still can't beleive I arrowed him at 6 yds. Even I can make that shot, thanks to a dumb button buck he was running off

Nice deer. I have a pic of a 3 year old that has a second main beam on his right side. Hes impressive at 3years but not mature. He didnt have that last year.
