Latest to Kill Sod

I'm very late getting fescue/brome mix sprayed with Gly for frost seed clover & switch grass next spring. What is the latest you think I could get a good kill (it was mowed in late August and hasn't grown back)? I'm on the IA/MO state line.

I have Dbltree scheduled to spray approximately 30 acres at my place tomorrow so I hope it isn't too late!!!

Seriously though, I would think you have another 2 weeks or so where you are.

I'm spraying a 30 acre tree planting infested with canada thistles for the USFWS today in NE Iowa. I'm using Transline for that but if I was spraying RU I'd add 2 oz./acre of AIM to the solution. It increases the effectiveness of the RU, especially on broadleaves but also seems to provide better control on perennial grasses.
