This year at the Iowa Taxidermist Association Show, a special seminar will be held on a hands- on deer mounting class. It will be Friday afternoon, 1:30,March 26th. It will be for the first 20 people who sign up.
Participants will have the opportunity to mount a deer head under direction of some of Iowa's top taxidermist.
Preperation is a must! Participants must have their own deer cape. The cape must measure 7 1/2 eye to nose, and 18" around the small part of the neck. No other sizes will work,as the forms are being donated at this size. No exceptions.

Participants must also provide their own needle, thread, lip tool, screws. Supplies being donated include; 20 forms from Matuska, hide paste and earliners from McKenzie, eyes and glue from Van Dyke's.
The cost you ask? $80.00 dollars will make you a member of the Iowa Taxidermist assc. and the National Taxidermist assc. for one year. Another $40.00 dollars will register you for the weekend show, others seminars, and competetion.
