Thought you might like to see today's project, the install is a little different, the blind sits on top of and over the platform, should keep things out of the weather.






 
That looks SOLID! Don't forget your ladder though, that looks a little high to have jump up in on those frosty mornings! :D

All of the reading I did stressed the importance of making a solid base, I didn't want to worry about the thing blowing over, plus the area that it sits in is known to flood.

I'm looking forward to finishing it up and using it this fall!

Good idea in floodplain. You will like Lickcreek blinds.
