Location, Location, Location

I'm realtively new to trail cams. Where do most of you place your cams, along trails or field edges? I got my 1st trail cam last year and got mainly does, fawns. I know that your area has to have big bucks to get them on film, but I was just curious as to where most of you prefer to set them. Thanks for the help!

i have got somewhere in the neighborhood of 835 trail cam pics of deer in a lot of different settings but most of my pics as far as bucks go is in the middle of or on the edge of thick cover. now that thick cover can be any where, in a field or deep in the woods, but i have had my best luck with bucks on these set-ups year round.
