One of the guys I work with took this video last weekend. The bucks eventually ended up in the river. The larger buck dunked and drown the smaller one. The weight of the smaller one then took down the larger buck and he also drown. Since the bucks were in the Sioux river between Iowa and South Dakota, wardens from both states were called.They gave a salvage tag for the meat but wouldn't allow them to keep the heads.

Sweet Video. Has anyone on here found locked bucks and gotten to actually keep the heads? I found a pair a few years back and the CO let me keep them. From all the stories i've heard since then it sounds like I got pretty lucky. They're not small deer either 150's 8 and a 170's 10.
 
The ones I know of that were kept, I doubt the CO was ever called. I was surprised they wouldn't let him keep these since he did take the meat.
