No. You cannot assign your tag to anyone. Party hunting during gun season may allow you to tag a deer shot by someone else on your land. But im not even sure about that.

No you cannot even if it is your kid they have to register for it themselves

I believe they must be depredation tags only. Large heard management only. ALso antler less only given out by DNR.

Thanks. I didn't think so, but someone tried to tell me tonight that I could.
You cannot "transfer" LOT tags in Iowa, but I think you can do this in other states like Kansas. That may be where the confusion is coming from.
