Here we go again. I haven't missed opening day of bow for about 6 years. I had a free trip offered to me that I couldn't turn down. Headed up today and comin back at the end of the week I will post pics when I get home.

Northerns and Muskies active

I was on a big lake Thursday fishing walleyes and the big pike and muskies were swirling/chasing all day. I hooked into one while fishing eyes' and it took off like a shark, snappped my line in a hurry. We saw a couple of really nice ones!

We had a great trip record setting temps all week not a drop of rain and a little wind. We fished muskies a little had a few on but never got any in the boat. I was with a group of walleye guys and they didnt like all that casting. The first fish of the trip was a 24 inch walleye

We kept getting a few more nice ones from this 1 hump. Here is a 23 1/2

It was hard to miss deer hunting but with a view like this it makes it a little easier

We got back to the cabin 1 day and we had a little visitor waiting on the deck.

I ended up winning the bet of not only first fish on the trip but also got the biggest here is a 26 1/2

Looks like an awesome trip! I would've traded the outings w/o batting an eye (no pun intended). If it was the first week in Nov, been a different story.

looks like a fun trip, although you wouldn't have seen me holding any of those 'eyes... . That lake is one of the coolest places on the face of the earth!

LoTW is hard to beat this time of year...plus you still have the end of OCT and rut for hunting.
