make your own flocked decoy

Does anyone have any tips for taking a decoy and flocking it yourself?? I have a boss buck and of course they come out with a flocked version right after i buy it back a few years ago. Thought about flocking mine myself, any ideas would be great. Thanks

I watched a friend of mine flock some goose decoy heads a few years ago. I think he just had a special spray paint and then a plastic bag of "flocking" material :grin: that he dusted on while the paint was still wet.

But keep in mind that all 4 reviews are a 1/5. It might be something you want to try? Good luck finding something! I also know that GHG sells replacement heads that are flocked, but I don't know if they would fit your dekes.
