Milo germination

Wondered if someone could answer a question. I've never planted milo until this year. Due to the rain I didn't get it out until the end of June. When can I expect to see some growth coming up? I feel like an expectant father since I'm new to food plots and don't know what to expect.

I planted Whitetail Institute Power Plant and it's coming up pretty good.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not an expert on milo but I know it is a hard, slow to germinate seed. It's used for gopher bait for that reason because it stays hard when dropped in a hole, so I would say if it takes several weeks not to be alarmed.

If your having the moisture that we are it shouldn't take too long however! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
