Here's a bird I killed in early April in Doniphan County, Kansas. Please forgive the incorrect date in the lower right hand corner of the pic as I had changed batteries in the digital camera but forgot to change the date!

(I have no idea what I would do without my better half...she's the techno one in this marriage!)

Stats:
25 pounds
10 inch beard
1" spurs
Taken with Mathews Switchback from Double Bull Blind at 7 yards.

Actually, here in KS it is cool to kill turkeys in Jan.

Our fall season is Oct 1 thru Jan 31.

But how did you get an '07 tag back in '03?
