Mock scrapes

Thinking about making some mock scrapes and putting some cameras in front of them. Do any of you guys have any luck doing this or is if a waste of time and money? Ive never used any scents other then cover up scents so was just curious peoples opions. Thanks!

We've had great luck putting them up and putting cams on them. We genearlly put them up in areas that get good scrape traffic to start with. We've had cams on them for 4 weeks now. We mainly pee in them but use the cheapest scent stuff we can and spray it on the licking branches and leaves. We've got two of the scent drippers we use just because. The deer seem interested in the scents that we put in them, some scrapes take off and get used heavily and some don't... we really haven't pinned down why other than location.

Don't believe you'll have to make any. Every piece of woods I have been in recently is tore up. You won't have any trouble finding one to put your cams on. Your call though :way:

I always just take a rake and work the ground over really well, don't even use scent and bucks end up just taking it over
