Hey guys,

Just got permission from a gentleman down in SW Monroe county N of Lake Rathbun just a little ways. Not to far from Melrose. I am actually heading down there tonight and checking everything out tomorrow with my old man. Never been down there before. Anyone know much about that particular area???

Not nearly as many folks managing for deer in the SW neighborhood of Monroe as compared to directly South and South East of Albia. Still great potential however anywhere in the county if you can find a piece that isn't highly pressured.

There are...just not as many. Just don't have enough cover to get alot of them.
