I believe there is a lot of uncertainty about exactly what effects the moon phases have on the rut.... but having off work from Nov. 4th - 12th is going to be SAAAAWEEEEEETTTT none the less /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Not to sound like a total idiot, but could you guys explain the moon phases and the relationship...effect ...it has on deer movement and the rut. Any insight would be appriciated. Thanks

there is a great book. I think its "whitetails by the moon"
In my opinion, just briefly, if the moon is up, deer will move. in november if you have a full moon all night they will be moving 10-2. Just some generalized info.
