Motherload of Morels

I know it's sacreligious to post without pics, but thought I'd let you guys know that Saturday I found 360 morels (10#) under one tree that's about 50 yards from my back door. It was nuts!

Lucky you! My season has been my least successful season in recent memory. Hoping there's still some good shroomin' to come.

A thin year so far

We have had very limited success this year, only about 20 so far, and those were in the past 2-3 days. They were nice yellows though, hopefully they come on later, but I am beginning to think this year will go down as a sub-par year. We are in southern Iowa.
