Nonres- The slide out pretty easy even when on your back. The frame is adjusted according to the length of your arrows. Foam pads at both ends keep your arrows snug inside. I can't describe it very well. You would have to see one to understand what I mean. They are nice if you do any stalking on the way to and from your stand too. the fletching is hidden up under the pack so they will never make any noise. As apposed to pully your bow through brush with an attached quiver.
 
I had the Alpine on my bow last fall. It was nice until it got below 30 degrees. Maybe I'm weak, but I could not snap the quiver back on due to the rubber freezing. Maybe they make a more pliable rubber now but I went back to the Kwikee.
