My great friend and hunting partner put the hammer down on this buck this morning. He caught him out cruising around at 9:00am. We took the "Great Shed Hunter" Brady along to help us track. After about 60 yards Brady said I see antlers and there he lay. I am almost positive I saw this buck the very first time I sat this year. I had not been sat down for more than 2 minutes when he walked out of the corn field and within 15 yards of me. It was so dark yet that I did not feel right taking any kind of a shot. Part of me now wishes I would have shot but I know I did the right thing and I am glad Steve was the one to get another shot at him.
