Nebraska Archery Paddlefish Permits Available
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is accepting applications for archery paddlefish permits.
The application period closes April 30, and the season runs July 9 through Aug. 7.
The commission says the permits are issued in a preference system. An applicant will receive a point if he or she isn't awarded a permit. Any person who does not apply at least once over a five-year period will lose all accumulated points.
A person may have no more than two archery paddlefish permits per year.
Resident permits cost $20; nonresident permits cost $40, not including issuing fees.
