Two NE Turkey Workshops Scheduled
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is hosting a spring turkey-hunting workshop March 27 at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League and March 31 at Platte River State Park (SP). Each workshop will be followed by a shotgun sight-in session.
The workshops are designed for the novice turkey hunter to learn how to become a successful hunter. Among the topics will be habitat, equipment and safety.
The March 27 workshop at the Izaak Walton League clubhouse, is from 6-8 p.m. The March 31 workshop will be held at Platte River SP's Mallet Lodge from 1-3 p.m. A park entry permit is required.
