Natural Resource Commission to Meet June 10 in Des Moines

DES MOINES - The Natural Resource Commission of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will meet at 8:30 a.m., June 10, in the fourth floor conference room, Wallace State Office Building, in Des Moines.

The commission will meet at 12 p.m. on June 9 at the Wallace Building for an information session before leaving for a tour of the area at 1 p.m. The tour will conclude at 5:30 p.m. Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Bandana's BBQ in Ankeny for dinner.

The meeting and tour is open to the public.

Members of the commission are Kim Francisco, Elizabeth Garst, Gregory Drees, Janelle Rettig, Tammi Kircher, Dennis Schemmel and Margo Underwood. The Director of the DNR is Richard Leopold.
