Hello, I have been lurking for a while and just got around to posting. I am from VA and enjoy seeing the monsters you guys have taken. We have a few good deer here but certianly not like you guys have. My brother and I bought a preference point for this year and may try for the draw next year. We hope to get to come out and hunt one day. I know you have had some issues with NRs but we have had them too. As long as you guys have the quality of deer that you have, people would like to have a chance to take one. We don't have the problem with NRs buying property just to hunt because the quality of deer here is not as good. I have taken a lot of deer with a rifle but I am mainly a bowhunter. I would hate to see Iowa let a rifle season happen during the rut. There would always be a few good deer that didn't get killed but the number big bucks would decrease dramatiaclly.
